Lisa Heieie’s longevity with the Law Firm of Swenson Lervick began on April 1, 1999 as a Legal Assistant. Her initial work began with criminal prosecution, along with civil litigation matters. Today, Lisa works in areas of Family Law, Adoption, Custody, and Divorce, along with Civil Litigation matters, Personal Injury, and Creditor Remedies. Since 1999 Lisa has worked as Attorney Derek Trosvig’s Legal Assistant and with Alexandria Assistant City Attorneys on vehicle forfeiture matters which continues to date. Her prior work experience included managing a small collection agency as a licensed debt collector after receiving her degree as a legal secretary in 1989 and Minnesota Debt Collector license in 1992.
I feel motivated and inspired with my work, I can honestly say after all these years each day is new and interesting. My daily goal is to perform my duties to the client’s satisfaction in the most efficient manner possible, and leave room for downtime to maintain a daily work-life balance.
Lisa enjoys the outdoors at the lake year round and daily walks with her Corgi-Welsh Springer. Lisa and her husband Brian have five adult daughters and enjoy attending the Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks Baseball Team and their grandchildren’s events. In 1978 Lisa relocated from her birthplace of Grand Island, Nebraska to Glenwood, Minnesota following a family vacation on beautiful Lake Minnewaska.
